Hi, it's Rick...

For those of you who know me, that's about enough. But for you others, I am a drummer/percussionist/song writer/singer/school teacher/cat trainer (in training)/know-it-all/nothing you need to know. I am doing all of the above, living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada). I have found new focus in the art of drumming, am practicing hard, and would like to forge a career as a clinician.

The picture on the home page is me and Midnight, he is a black leopard. If you look closely, you can see the rosettes (spots) on his back and tail. You can also see the holes in my jersey where he bit me!

I am hoping to hear from all types of people, aquiantances, strangers and weirdos.

On this site you will find samples of my music which I continue to compose (some say decompose) and hope to have new additions bi-weekly.

Currently I am working with the Vern Michaels Band... a three piece rock and country band.

I will posting a proper bio shortly, but there are bits and pieces in the articles section... and frankly, that is as much as anyone needs to know about me!

If you have read this, you have done well Grasshopper. I hope to get some feedback, and remember "if you can't be good, be long!".

IT'S A GRAND TIME OF THE YEAR! The snow's gone, school's almost out and the Riders haven't hit the SUCK button yet! We just had our last band concert at the school and the kids played great! (kind of gives me warm fuzzies) I'm working on a video called "Drumming Quadra-Pedal" and if you read this please go to You Tube and punch in the key words "Quadra-Pedal" and I will be magically there to entertain you. Instead of a biography I'm going to do bio-ettes. (small pieces of info cause my attenion span isn't long enuff to do a complete bio) Actually if you go to articles that will give you some inrfo. Did you know that you can get gusts of up to 15 words a minute using the 3 fingered typing technique? OK I'm ramnbing so will sign off for today. Just remember you have to be GOOD to be lucky.
